BEAUTY UK LIPSTICKS SET REVIEW AND SWATCHES!

As you all know, I posted a picture on instagram like 8 weeks ago (@andricsonclemente) a beauty haul featuring UK/European Brands that I purchased from makeupholics. Search 'makeupholics' on facebook for awesome makeup finds without a snatch in your pocket.

Lets get on to the review!

LIPSTICKS are one of the products that make-up artists can't live without. You don't need a lot of lipsticks I bet you. You just need the right shades and you're ready to go. It doesn't matter if its high end or not as long as it works.

I recently fell inlove with the Lipsticks that I purchased from makeupholics. Its a Three-Lipstick Set from Beauty UK. Its a deluxe sized lipstick hence it's not a full sized one. Each full size lipstick costs £2.99 in UK which is really affordable. I got two packs which is 6 lipsticks.

ABOUT THE COMPANY

beautyuk: the company

Born and bred in the UK (hence the name), beautyuk has grown from strength to strength since its humble beginnings five years ago. We are a family run business, which is quite nice really in a world full of big, scary, faceless corporations, and it means we can provide a much friendlier, more tailored service for our customers.

The first set I got was the hollywood glam which has 3 pastel-ish shades. All of them are really creamy in consistency. It has a little bit of mint scent to it but not disturbing. I bet you that some of this lipsticks are not moisturizing. Might as well put a lipbalm before putting them on.

First Lipstick in the Hollywood Glam set is Cupcake which is a baby pink lipstick with blue undertone. (The picture kinda looks dark) It's a little bit similar to MAC saint german + MAC pink nouveou

Chelsea - a peach toned nude lipstick (sorry for the dark appearance in the picture) this color washes me out. It's kindoff similar to MAC's peachstock lipstick with a hint of MAC's freckletone for reference. This color would really compliment with light/pale skin (NC15-NC25, NW15-NW25 for MAC reference) I love nude lipsticks but the only nude one that suits me well is Everbilena's matte lipstick in Mauvey. I love this color though perfect for editorial, photoshoot and runway.
SNOB - It really looks dark in the picture! Sorry for that. But this is very similar to MAC Faux lipstick which is currently my favorite.  its a mauve shade with a hint of pastely plum color. This is creamy matte in consistency and it's really really pigmented.

The Next set is called 'Very Important Pout' it has mostly red-toned lippies like Naughty and Vampire except for Candy. This set has shiny/sheen/satin finish compared to the other set which has mostly creamy matte. And I bet you this is crazy pigmented. As in sobra. Ermagerd superb pigmentation.

CANDY - is a Nicki Minaj-ish hot pink lipstick this is really comparable to MAC's candy yum yum lipstick but not 100%. Its really pretty and hella pigmented.

NAUGHTY - is a bright bright red tone lipstick with blue undertone. The color reminds me of MAC's ruby woo(matte) and Estee Lauder's Scarlet(glossy). It's a very pretty color and compliments light and morena skin. Great for photoshoot and runway.

VAMPIRE - The name speaks for itself! LOL! It's a bloody Vampire Red! Perfect for Pin-Ups, Old Hollywood Glamour, Night Outs and Special Occasion. This color reminds me of MAC's Russian Red with a hint of MAC's Dubonnet.

FINAL VERDICT -

I will rate this 10 stars even though the packaging is a no-no it's similar to the packaging of NYX's matte lipstick. And it's not locally available ypu can only buy this online at makeupholics. The product itself inside the tube is really really amazing. One swipe and youre ready to go. The pigmentation is awesome! The consistency is really creamy as it can be. And lastly it's really affordable! Everyone can afford it. :))

DISCLAIMER : I'm not affiliated with 'makeupholics' nor 'beautyUk' I purchased this with my own money and all of the facts stated above are nothing but the truths and my opinions. :D
